Mechanical Design Engineer

Solid experience in design for manufacture and implementing products into manufacture.
Experience in using CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD).
IT Literacy in Microsoft Office Applications.
Background in engineering.
Proficiency in English .

Create concepts, sketches, mock-ups, and 3D models as required, designing physical models using 3d software (SolidWorks, Inventor).
Generate design specifications to match the original brief plus any additions and contribute to the collation of the bill of materials, parts list, views, technical documentation/specifications, diagrams, and manufacturing instructions.
Respond to feedback and refine designs as required by parties engaged in the appraisal of the prototype /visual/ 3D model. Present further re-designs and ensure final refinements to the satisfaction of all parties, before approval for production.
Create/refine manufacturing drawings as per final product specifications.
Work with the manufacturing team to optimize the design for manufacture.
Attend training, develop relevant knowledge, techniques, and skills, and always work within company procedures and policies.
