Blasting
Pre-treatment of workpiece is one of the most important stages to ensure quality corrosion protection.
Abrasive blasting is a process that uses a pressure abrasive to remove scale, rust, and old coatings. At the same time, micro-abrasion of the metal surface is achieved – an important condition for good adhesion. The process is applicable for workpieces with a thickness of more than 3 mm.
At AQ Electric AD we have 3 separate blasting chambers:
– for ferrous metals with dimensions 4m x 3m , the abrasive used are steel pellets
-for stainless steel and aluminium – same size and abrasive -glass beads.
-automatic one – for workpieces up to 1.60 m high and 1.20 m wide.
